We’re very happy with our experience at Illini Hearing. This is what good care looks like! Andy tested my 88-year old, very hard-of-hearing, mother and discussed the results with us. But there was no hard sales pitches and no up-selling attempts. He explained our options for hearing aids and his recommendation began with the device that would offer her the best hearing and the best experience (primarily ease of use) at the best price for our insurance situation. We’ve been back several times for check-ins and adjustments. After several weeks, mom was still struggling to get the hearing aids in her ears each day and, many days, she just didn’t wear them. At our next appointment, Andy showed us a second option, a bit more expensive but easier to use, and we are now trying that option. I recently decided it was time to have my own hearing tested, so I went to Illini Hearing myself and Andy happily reported that my hearing is normal. But when I need a hearing aid, I’ll be going to Illini Hearing. We are happy to recommend them.
